YOU CANNOT BE DEFEATED

“Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” (Ephesians 6:11 KJV)

In the book of Matthew 16:18 (KJV) Jesus declares, “...I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” There is no power strong enough to destroy the church. I want you to understand that you belong to the company of those that cannot be destroyed because the church belongs to God. So regardless of what the enemy is doing, irrespective of his arsenals and all antics, he cannot destroy the church. And when we talk about the church, we are talking about you.

As we climax the age, Satan’s activities will be on the increase and we are already seeing some signs of it around us and all over the place. But the truth is that God has not left us naked without adequate provision to ensure that we are protected from everything the enemy is throwing against us. He has given us the weapons and the necessary tools to ensure that we are able to withstand the activities of the enemy.

Apostle Paul declares “For though we walk in flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God...” (2Corinthians 10:3-4 KJV) The fact that you are child of God does not give you complete immunity from satanic attacks. He will attack but the truth is that you have been adequately equipped to withstand him. The scripture says, “...Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” (James 4:17 KJV)

The mighty hand of God is in His word. Jesus is the word of God and He has already defeated the devil. Jesus descended to hell and made a show of the devil. He disarmed him and rose triumphant over death, grave and hell. So you see, the devil is already defeated but you have to take all the armour and all the instruments God has given you. By the authority of heaven, the giants will fall before you. The anointing to rule is coming upon your life. You will rule your environment. You will not end up a disappointment. HEAR CHRIST'S VOICE THROUGH THE WORD

Jesus answered and said to them, “You are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God.” (Matthew 22:29).

The voice of God is speaking to us through His Word, and there are many voices that we will hear; but Christ has said we should beware of them who will say, Here is Christ or there is Christ. Then how shall we know that they have not the truth, unless we bring everything to the Scriptures? Christ has warned us to beware of false prophets who will come to us in His name, saying that they are Christ.

Now, if you should take the position that it is not important for you to understand the Scriptures for yourselves, you will be in danger of being led away with these doctrines. Christ has said that there will be a company who in the day of retributive judgment will say, “Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?” But Christ will say, “Depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”

Now, we want to understand what sin is; that it is the transgression of God’s law. This is the only definition given in the Scriptures. Therefore we see that those who claim to be led of God, and go right away from Him and His law, do not search the Scriptures. But the Lord will lead His people; for He says that His sheep will follow if they hear His voice, but a stranger will they not follow. Then it becomes us to thoroughly understand the Scriptures. And we will not have to inquire whether others have the truth; for it will be seen in their characters.

The time is coming when Satan will work miracles right in your sight, claiming that he is Christ; and if your feet are not firmly established upon the truth of God, then you will be led away from your foundation. The only safety for you is to search for the truth as for hid treasures. Dig for the truth as you would for treasures in the earth, and present the Word of God, the Bible, before your heavenly Father, and say, Enlighten me; teach me what is truth. And when His Holy Spirit shall come into your hearts, to impress the truth into your souls, you will not let it go easily.

TRUE LOVE

Everyone in the world is searching for love. We say we love to eat. We love our pets. We love to make money. But that kind of love doesn't last for very long. The good news is that there is another kind of love -- love that comes from God. God’s love lasts forever. God’s love asks for nothing in return. He loves you just the way you are.

1. God Loves You! The Bible says, "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life" The problem is that...

2. All of us have done, said or thought things that are wrong. This is called sin, and our sins have separated us from God. The Bible says "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." God is perfect and holy, and our sins separate us from God forever. The Bible says "The wages of sin is death." The good news is that, about 2,000 years ago

3. God sent His only Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins. Jesus is the Son of God. He lived a sinless life and then died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. "God demonstrates His own love for us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us." Jesus rose from the dead and now He lives in heaven with God His Father. He offers us the gift of eternal life -- of living forever with Him in heaven if we accept Him as our Lord and Savior. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except by Me." God reaches out in love to you and wants you to be His child. "As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe on His name." You can choose to ask Jesus Christ to forgive your sins and come in to your life as your Lord and Savior.

4. If you want to accept Christ as your Savior and turn from your sins, you can ask Him to be your Savior and Lord by praying a prayer like this: "Lord Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. Please forgive my sins and give me the gift of eternal life. I ask you in to my life and heart to be my Lord and Savior. I want to serve you always." Did you pray this prayer? YES/NO.

DO NOT MERELY READ THE SCRIPTURES, BUT SEARCH

You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me. (John 5:39).

We are thankful that we have a sure word of prophecy, so that none of us need be deceived. We know that there are heresies and fables in our world at the present time, and we want to know what is truth. It becomes us to search carefully for ourselves that we may gain this knowledge. We cannot do this with a mere reading of the Scriptures, but we must compare scripture with scripture.

We must search the Scriptures for ourselves, so that we shall not be led astray; and while many may be led astray because there are all kinds of doctrines in our world, there is one truth. Many may come to you and tell you that they have the truth, but it is your privilege to search the Scriptures for yourself. “To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.” We must be acquainted with the Scriptures ourselves, that we may understand the true reason of the hope that is within us.

The apostle tells us that we are to give to everyone that asks us a reason of the hope that is within us, with meekness and fear. “The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.” It is not enough to merely read, but the Word of God must enter into our hearts and our understanding, in order that we may be established in the blessed truth. If we should neglect to search the Scriptures for ourselves, that we may know what is truth, then if we are led astray we are accountable for it. We must search the Scriptures carefully, so that we will know every condition that the Lord has given us; and if we have minds of limited capacity, by diligently searching the Word of God we may become mighty in the Scriptures, and may explain them to others.

Every church that shall be raised up should be educated in regard to this truth. “The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few.” The teachers that shall present the truth cannot stand by you to see that you do not embrace the errors that are flooding our land; but if you are established in the Scriptures, you will feel the responsibility and will search the Scriptures for yourselves, so that you may be a help to others.

THE POWER OF PASSION

If you do not like your present circumstances, stop giving your thoughts and your energy to them. Rather than being sick and tired of the way things are, become passionate about how you want them to be. You can attract to yourself whatever you most passionately desire. Yet you can also attract
whatever you most passionately
despise. Whatever is the object
of your strongest, most enduring passion will become a reality in your life. So focus
your passion on what you love, not on what you hate. Imagine what would happen if
you spent this entire day with all your energy directed toward your most positive possibilities. Imagine how life would be if you could simply accept that what’s happened has happened, and now you’re free to fulfill your
most treasured desires. Imagine it, and then go beyond imagining to make it so. Set your mind, your heart, your intention and your passion on the very best, and that is where you’ll go. Do the best in life to make your possible tomorrow worthful. You are the best and unique in your way.

WHO IS A FRIEND?

This is one of the phrases in the language that is interesting because there are various interpretations of the meaning.

Firstly, is it 'a friend in need is a friend indeed' or 'a friend in need is a friend in deed'. Clearly, that would have a bearing on the meaning. The 'in need' is also open to interpretation - is it 'a friend (when you are) in need' or 'a friend (who is) in need'. If the former, then the phrase means: 'someone who helps you when you are in need is a true friend'. If the latter, it is 'someone who needs your help becomes especially friendly in order to obtain it'. So, that gives us four options:

1. A friend, (when you are) in need, is indeed a true friend. ('indeed')

2. A friend, (when you are) in need, is someone who is prepared to act to show it ('in deed')

3. A friend, (who is) in need, is indeed a true friend. ('indeed')

4. A friend, (who is) in need, is someone who is prepared to act to show it ('in deed') The original meaning can be resolved to some degree by the documentary evidence - see below. Nevertheless, there is no unambiguous right or wrong here and this is a phrase that we probably infer the meaning of from context when we first hear it. Whichever of the above options we initially elect for will cement our understanding of the phrase; probably forever, if the vehemence of the mutually contradictory mails I get on this subject are anything to go by.

A friend is never known till a man have need. Before I had need, my most present foes Seemed my most friends; but thus the world goes So, what does that evidence indicate in terms of original meaning?

IT'S TIME FOR A CHANGE

When you embrace the word of God, your
destiny is established.
These hidden covenants of
blessings you now know about
are the minutest details that
may not appeal to "charismatic yankees", yet they are details
you cannot neglect.
These are all hidden covenant
mysteries that make your seeds
to bring forth in hundredfolds,
now in this life, and in the world to come. They are what
makes "give and it shall be
given unto you" effective.
Thank God for all that you have
given to the Kingdom, thank
God for all your tithes, thank God for all your offerings, but
these are other covenant
responsibilities that make those
ones produce. They are all
hidden issues that make life
bouyant. You know why God is showing
you all these? He is eager to
reward you. He sees your
faithfulness, your commitment,
dedication and zeal, that will
help your rewards to reach you.
You are too dedicated to fail!
Too committed to fail! So these
little, little foxes must be taken
off.
You know how it is that a cocoa plantation offer to be
fumigated, to kill certain insects
that won't let the cocoa trees
stay healthy. They are the
things that want to kill your
cocoa trees and make them unproductive. So, you are killing
them so they don't destroy the
labour of your hands.
Your labour will not be
destroyed any more!
Oh what a blessing to know where to place these things in
the covenant!
It's time to allow for a change
that will reflect in the work you
are doing. You display things in
your shop, and nobody is buying them? Can't you find out what
is happening?
The covenant is power! Discover
it. Make it a lifestyle!

place to every instruction.
